| BAG FILLING MACHINE PROJECT The client had serious mechanical, safety and functional issues with their machine and Bellpro was hired to complete both remedial design and total rectification of these problems. Firstly the machine was mechanically overhauled, then the main control cabinet was designed and manufactured complete with total software development. Then a second PLC/HMI cabinet was manufactured for the auger controls located at the other end of the hopper and integrated with the main cabinet. All of this was installed and commissioned over the Christmas break and was brought in on time and ready for production in the new year. Since installation, this machine has out-performed all client expectations by dramatically increasing production, eliminating downtime and cutting down on man hours (in real terms). |
